N.C. Medicaid recompete

	The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Medical Assistance, plans to release an RFP this month to recompete its Medicaid management information system fiscal agent contract. The state wants to improve system performance; reduce costs in operations and manual processes; reduce the cost of changes to the system; and bring the system in line with the state's architectural strategy. The current fiscal agent is Electronic Data Systems Corp.
