Raytheon appoints Ron Ross as VP

Raytheon Co. has tapped Ron Ross as vice president of its Information Solutions. Ross, a long-time government IT player, led Raytheon's consolidated information technology capabilities.

Ross will report to Mike Keebaugh, president of Raytheon Intelligence and Information Systems, the information solutions' parent business unit.

Before joining Raytheon, Ross was president of Scientific and Engineering Solutions Inc., a provider of information technology services to the federal government. Over a 35-year career, he also has been president of Compaq Federal LLC, and was president and chief operating officer of CACI International Inc. He also held a series of executive positions at Computer Sciences Corp.

Earlier this year, Raytheon consolidated its information technology capabilities into a single unit to pursue more IT specific government work.
