NCI picked for GAO tech contract

NCI Information Systems Inc., McLean, Va., won a subcontract to assist SRA International Inc. in supporting the General Accounting Office's information technology infrastructure. The six-year contract is worth approximately $22.7 million if all options are exercised, NCI said today.

NCI will provide customer service with help desk, floor support and desktop support, as well as networking, infrastructure and application support for Novell, MS 2000 and Unix and Linux.

In March, SRA of Fairfax, Va., was named the prime contractor for the GAO's $105 million task order from GSA's Federal Systems Integration and Management Center, which will provide GAO with enterprisewide network engineering and management services.

NCI reported 2002 revenue of $138 million, while SRA ? No. 32 on the Washington Technology Top 100 ? had revenue of $361 million.
