ACS wins $62.7 million Wisconsin child support renewal

Affiliated Computer Services Inc. won a $62.7 million contract renewal from the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development to continue operating the state's child support payment processing operation, the company announced today.

The four-year contract includes the option to renew for two more years.

Under the contract, ACS of Dallas will be responsible for the overall management of Wisconsin's centralized child support payment processing operation.

The company will handle all payment-related responsibilities, including receipting payments, disbursing support payments, processing payment adjustments and completing monthly reconciliation. In addition, the company will administer a customer call center.

ACS won the original Wisconsin child support payment processing contract in 1998. The company currently processes child support payments in 15 states and Los Angeles County.

The company has more than 40,000 employees and had annual sales of $3.1 billion in fiscal 2002.
