Briefs: Connecticut court project

The Connecticut Judicial Branch is requesting sealed proposals from qualified vendors for an online booking system. The RFP is expected in March.

Connecticut wants to reduce paperwork and increase functionality, efficiency and accuracy of the arrest and offender process. The courts need to obtain arrest information from law enforcement agencies electronically. The agencies need to move data electronically from the new system to or from various legacy systems. Applications and standards are needed for several diversified law enforcement agencies to transmit arrest data to the judicial branch. The project is expected to be worth about $1 million.

These opportunities are compiled by Federal Sources Inc., a market research firm in McLean, Va. (www.fedsources.com)
