Anne Reed, former president of Electronic Data Systems Corp.'s state and local government group, is joining Acquisition Solutions Inc., a research and consulting company that specializes in advising federal agencies on acquisition issues.
Before working at EDS, Reed spent 20 years working for the government starting as a Presidential Management Intern and rising to become the Agriculture Department's chief information officer.
Reed has received numerous honors during her career, including being named Government Executive of the Year by Government Computer News in 1998. In 2001, Harvard University's John F. "Anne brings outstanding leadership and management skills to the helm as we continue our corporate journey. ... Her experience at senior levels of government and industry will insure that we remain true to our core values as we continue to grow," said Chip Mather, co-founder of Acquisition Solutions.
