Under the contract, which includes one option year, Dallas-based ACS will support operations in Virginia, Georgia, Puerto Rico and Cuba by providing desktop services, file server administration, Web and help desk services.

At the activity's offices in Arlington, Va., ACS will provide network management and administration, client/server support, application support and problem resolution, data communications support, systems installation and maintenance and Web technology support.

The company also will provide similar support to the Defense Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools headquarters in Peach Tree City, Ga., and to schools at Warner Robins Air Force Base, Ga.; Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico; and Guantanamo Bay Naval Air Station, Cuba.

The contract extends ACS' relationship with the Education Activity to five years.
