Sierra Nevada Corp. acquires unmanned technologies firm

Sierra Nevada Corp. has acquired Kutta Technologies in a move that bolster’s Sierra Nevada’s unmanned technologies capabilities.

Sierra Nevada Corp. has acquired Kutta Technologies in a move that bolster’s Sierra Nevada’s unmanned technologies capabilities.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Kutta was advised in the deal by the investment bank KippsDeSanto.

Phoenix, Ariz.-based Kutta Technologies specializes in unmanned technologies with capabilities in command and control, manned-unmanned teaming, visualization and airspace management/deconfliction.

The company will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sierra Nevada Corp., and will be part of the company’s Integrated Missions Systems business area, which currently provides aviation integration, ISR, and unmanned integration, Sierra Nevada said in a release.
