Salient CRGT tapped for special ops IT support

Salient CRGT has won a $38.1 million Army task order to provide mission critical IT communications infrastructure and services for U.S. Special Operations forces.

Work will take place in Fayetteville, N.C., and in Afghanistan. The task runs through March 14, 2023.

The win came under a contract known as Global Command Terrestrial Communications IV that Salient CRGT won in 2018. With this task order, the total value of work the company has received under the contract has reached over $110 million, according to Deltek data.

The Army uses the GCTC contract to buy program management, IT and systems engineering support and implementation, and operations and maintenance. Salient CRGT is the sole winner of the contract.
