Small biz takes contract to support development of guided missile frigates

.

A Washington, D.C., small business has been picked for a $6.7 million task order to support the program office for guided missile frigates.

The Columbia Group provides marine engineering and financial management services. Under this contract, the company will provide 10 full-time staff to support the program office.

Ten companies bid on the work under the Seaport-e contract.

CACI International is a teammate of the Columbia Group. The CACI business unit was part of the company’s acquisition of Navy design and systems work that General Dynamics divested last year.

The contract runs through the fall of 2025.
