Labor looking for cloud services for new public disclosure website

The Labor Department wants cloud services to host a new public disclosure system website.

Labor’s Employee Benefits and Security Administration (EBSA) is considering a five-year contract for FEDRAMP cloud services, according to a request for information.

The public disclosure system site would allow for basic and advanced searches of filing, including downloads of data and images. EBSA also wants mechanisms for bulk retrieval of data, software, and virtual machine images, as well as for tracking system usage and online reporting for users’ statuses.

The services will consist of the cloud hosting. EBSA will provide the application, maintenance and enhancements.

EBSA released a request for information as it considers vendors.

EBSA released the RFI June 9. Vendors can submit questions about the RFI until June 12, and the agency will release the answers by June 16. Responses to RFI are due by June 21.
