Who won January's biggest contracts?

2017 got off to a meager start with several dozen contract awards announced in the month of January. Who won the top contracts?

Maybe its the lull from the end of one administration and the start of a new one but 2017 got off to a slow start with just more than a couple dozen contract awards announced in the month of January.

For the month, Washington Technology reported on 27 contract awards. This number doesn't quite match up with January 2016's 46 contract awards.

To win a contract in January, you had to win a contract worth more than $80 million.

But the month was good to Leidos, who secured two of the top 10 spots.

10. CSRA gets $80M bridge contract for Navy ONE-Net

CSRA has won an $80.3 million bridge contract to continue providing support of the Navy’s Naval Enterprise Network, or ONE-Net, outside the continental United States.

9. ManTech wins $87M T&E task order

ManTech International has won a $87 million task order to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division.

8. Vectrus awarded $88.8M option to continue info management, IT enterprise services

Vectrus Systems Corp. has been awarded an $88.8 million option to continue its support of the Army Corps of Engineers.

7. Accenture's $100M FBI win continues HR work at bureau

Accenture Federal Services has won a seven-year, $100 million blanket purchase agreement with the Federal Bureau of Investigation to provide application services and digital solutions.

6. CGI scores $102M identity management task order

CGI has won a $102 million task order to provide the Homeland Security Department identity management for 26 federal agencies.

5. Amyx tops seven companies to win $189.3M OASIS task order

Amyx Inc. has won a $189.3 million OASIS task order to provide the Joint Improvised-Threat Defeat Organization (JIDO) with mission support services. The company’s initial award is $4.2 million.

4. Leidos wins $202M subcontract from CACI to support JIDO

Leidos has won a $202 million task order subcontract under prime contractor CACI International to support the Joint Improvised Threat Defeat Organization.

3. OST Inc. wins $248M systems engineering contract

OST Inc. has won a $248 million contract to support the Army Program Executive Office, Simulation, Training and Instrumentation.

2. Leidos wins $350M recompete contract to support USAF mission planning enterprise

Leidos has won a $350 million contract to continue providing mission planning systems engineering and integration for the Air Force’s Joint Mission Planning Enterprise.

1. AAI wins $475M contract for UAV ISR support

AAI Corp. has won a $475 million contract to support the U.S. Special Operations Command.
