Tecolote Research has won an $8 million contract to provide the Air Force with advisory and assistance services.

Tecolote Research has won an $8 million contract to provide the Air Force with advisory and assistance services.

The contract supports the Space and Missile Systems Center’s Remote Sensing Systems Directorate, whose mission is to develop, deploy and sustain surveillance capabilities in support of missile warning, missile defense, battlespace awareness, technical intelligence and environmental monitoring, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed at Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., Buckley Air Force Base, Colo., and in Boulder, Colo., and is expected to be completed in November 2017.
