The General Services Administration issued a solicitation for integrating its public building systems into GSA’s Building Systems Network or BSN.

The CIO of GSA’s Public Buildings Service issued the proposal to carry out a mandate to connect building information or control systems. The policy requires all network and internet services in GSA buildings to connect with GSA’s BSN.

The contract’s tasks include installing and configuring software for building automation, as well as configuring field devices, networks, and system cutovers into the network.

PBS has arranged a pre-proposal conference and site visit for Dec. 13 in Madison, Wisconsin.

PBS has yet to set a specific award date for the firm-fixed-price contract.

PBS released the solicitation Nov. 22. Proposals are due by Dec. 28.
