Navy intends to award 5-year cybersecurity IDIQ

The Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWC) intends to award a single, five-year indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract for IT and cybersecurity support services.

The warfare center will use the IDIQ for services, such as analysis, design, development and testing, integration and deployment of IT systems and services. The work will include configuration management, technical information assurances, network monitoring, and defense and security, as the contractor backs up the cybersecurity workforce.

The Navy expects to release a request for proposals for the IDIQ in early 2017.

The Navy released a solicitation Nov. 14. Responses are due by Jan. 5.
