Air Force considers IDIQ for agile development

The Air Force is planning to create a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract for agile development work for the department’s Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS).

The Air Force’s goal is addressing several DCGS strategies related to the Agile/Scaled Agile Framework. The Agile/SAFe task orders will focus on:

  • Integrating new intelligence sources to DCGS embedded systems
  • Making infrastructure improvements to the systems
  • Improving information-sharing, integration and interoperability
  • Implementing New Multi-Intelligence analysis and fusion capabilities

The DCGS is a worldwide, net-centric system of fixed and deployable, scalable and modular ground stations. The system provides multi-source intelligence data to warfighters through data distribution, information-sharing, and collaborative work centers.

The Air Force released the sources-sought notice Oct. 21. Responses are due by Nov. 21.
