NASA SEWP to make purchasing data available via 'CIO portal'

NASA’s SEWP organization is putting together a CIO portal to make its sales data more available for agency CIOs, according to FCW.

The portal is necessary because the data on what an agency buys through the SEWP contract is becoming more important as oversight rules in FITARA and category management take hold, FCW reported.

In fiscal 2016, SEWP has processed 29,000 orders, which was a 16 percent increase in the number of orders it processed in the previous fiscal year.
