Universal Technology Corp. wins $7.9M R&D contract

Universal Technology Corp. has won a $7.9 million research and development contract with the Air Force.

Universal Technology Corp. has won a $7.9 million research and development contract with the Air Force.

Under the contract, the company will provide research and development efforts that involve the study and application of flight vehicle guidance, navigation and control laws.

This includes creating flight-critical software and system verification and validation; modeling and simulation of aerospace systems, weapon systems, flight control sub-systems, and all components for controlled flight, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and is expected to be completed in December 2021.
