Synectics nabs $5M contract to support NSF surveys

Synectics for Management Decisions has won a five-year, $5 million contract to provide data collection and analysis to the National Science Foundation.

The contract seeks to provide statistical data collection and trend reporting support for the Survey of Federal R&D Funds, which according to the National Science Foundation website is the primary source of information about federal funding for research and development in the United States.

Under the contract, Synectics will also support the Survey of Federal Science and Engineering Support to Universities and Colleges, which the NSF said provides data and analyses on federal scence and engineering support to universities, colleges and non-profits.

Synectics just last week added four employees to its business development team.
