Navy seeks rapid innovative operational testing support

The Naval Surface Warfare Center is considering a single-award contract for Rapid Innovative Operational Testing support.

The support will focus on weapon systems research and development for unmanned systems. It also will include integration, software development, command and control technology, assessment and evaluation, and systems engineering.

In addition, the Naval Surface Warfare Center will require a variety of projects to study, analyze, and advise officials as they advance defense systems related to scientific and technical information to meet the requiring activity’s mission requirements.

The Naval Surface Warfare Center may award a five-year, single-award indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract.

The sources-sought announcement was released Sept. 22. Responses are due by Oct. 7.
