ITI division taps new director of national security

The IT Alliance for the Public Sector has appointed Jonathan Clifford to the position of director of national security.

In his new role, Clifford will build policy consensus between business, the Defense Department, and the intelligence community regarding information technology policies, system procurement and utilization, and force structure and budget authorities, the organization said in a release.

Before this appointment, Clifford served as a senior policy advisor to Rep. Frank LoBiondo (R-N.J.). Before that, Clifford served as a legislative aide to Rep. Jon Runyan (R-N.J.).

The IT Alliance for the Public Sector is a division of the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI).
