BAE Systems awarded $12.9M Navy systems support contract

BAE Systems Technology Solutions & Services has been awarded a $12.9 million option to support Navy systems.

The option brings the total value of the overall contract to $34 million, the Defense Department said in a release.

Under the option, BAE will provide operations and maintenance in support of Navy communication, electronic and computer systems.

Work is expected to be completed in June 2017.
