Lockheed Martin awarded $13.4M contract mod for F-35 IT support

Lockheed Martin has been awarded a $13.4 million contract modification to support the Navy’s Autonomic Logistics Information Systems Operational Representative Environment for the F-35 Lightning II.

The system is the IT backbone of the F-35 and allows F-35 operators to plan ahead, maintain and sustain its systems over the course of the vehicle’s life, Lockheed Martin said in a release.

Work is expected to be completed in September 2017.
