Sabre Systems founder, CEO adds chairman to title

Sabre Systems founder, president and CEO Philip Jaurigue is relinquishing his title as president and assuming the role of board chairman. Jaurigue will retain his position as CEO of the company.

Glen Ives, current chief operating officer, will add the role of president to his existing responsibilities.

In addition to the top level personnel moves, the company has tapped senior executive director Dennis DePriest to be its new vice president, Mid-Atlantic region.

The moves, Jaurigue said in a release, are part of a greater company effort to become a more focused and higher-growth company.
