Who won May's biggest contracts?

Contract award activity picked up in the fifth month of 2016, with Washington Technology reporting on 53 awards.

May’s 53 is up from last month’s 47 awards. The number also tops May 2015’s when we covered 43 awards. So far in 2016, Washington Technology has covered 243 compared to 233 for a same period last year.

To make the list in May, you had to have a contract with a value greater than $245 million. May’s contract roundup threshold is higher than April’s $128.8 million threshold.

May was a great month for Harris, who nabbed two of the top ten spots, but also for Booz Allen, who took sole possession of one spot and also made a second appearance via a multiple-award contract.

10. Eight companies win spots on $245M contract for engineering, technical support

Eight companies will compete for task orders under a $245 million contract to provide engineering and technical support to the Naval Research Laboratory Information Technology Division.

9. Four win spots on $249.8M ISR task order

Four companies have won spots on a $249.8 million task order to provide surveillance support to the Army.

8. Raytheon nabs $250M to support USMC Logistics Integration Support program

Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services has won a $250 million contract to support the Marine Corps’ Logistics Integration Support program.

7. CACI International wins task order to continue support of Army R&D directorate

CACI International has won a task order to continue providing development, engineering and protection services support for the U.S. Army Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate.

6. Harris awarded $384M in options to continue support of NASA communication program

Harris has been awarded $384 million in options to continue supporting NASA’s Space Communications Network Services program.

5. Booz Allen wins $400M help desk support contract

Booz Allen Hamilton has won a $400 million contract to support the Defense Intelligence Agency.

4. Harris wins $405M contract to support Army comms

Harris Corp. has won a $405 million single award contract to provide communications equipment to the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command.

3. Lockheed Martin nets $424.2M contract to support electronic warfare project

Lockheed Martin has won a $424.2 million contract with the Navy to support the Aircrew Electronic Warfare Tactical Training Range project.

2. Jacobs Technology wins $427M contract to assist Navy combat training

Jacobs Technology has won a $427 million contract to provide test and evaluation and other services to the Navy.

1. 109 vendors capture $11.5B HCaTS contract

The General Services Administration and Office of Personnel Management have awarded the $11.5 billion governmentwide Human Capital and Training Solutions contract to 109 companies. This contract is currently under protest.
