DHS to issue guidance on cyber sharing

The Homeland Security Department plans to publish guidance to the private sector on how to better share cybersecurity information with the government, according to FCW.

This is part of a continued effort by the federal government to share cybersecurity information with the private sector more easily, but one that has industry feeling uneasy due to security concerns.

At a conference, deputy secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said that both sectors need to communicate more efficiently with each other since technology is evolving and the threats are becoming even more dangerous, FCW reported.
