L-3 scores $200.3M warfighter readiness contract

L-3 Communications Link and Simulation Training Division has won a $200.3 million contract to provide the Air Force with warfighter readiness and training research.
Under the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract, L-3 will provide research, development, evaluation, and validation of training approaches, methods, tool, instrumentation, and enterprise infrastructure for learning and performance.
Work will be performed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by Jan. 2023.
Two companies bid on this contract, which was contracted out by the Air Force Research Laboratory.
