Engility wins $247.9M contract for advisory, assistance services

Engility Corp. has won a $247.9 million contract to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency.

The base value of the contract is $42 million but with options it rises to $247.9 million.

Under the contract, Engility will provide advisory and assistance services to DTRA’s Research and Development Directorate.

Work will be performed at Fort Belvoir, Va., Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M., and Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., and is expected to be completed in April 2021 with options.

According to the Defense Department, this contract was bid as a best-value procurement, but since Engility was the only bidder, DTRA entered into negotiations with them directly.
