State Dept. small biz organization to host connection conference

The State Department is hosting its first Overseas Small Business Government Contracting Conference in May.

The conference is May 31 at George Mason University in Arlington, Va.

At the event, large prime contractors and agency representative will meet one-on-one with small companies in various socio-economic categories. The opportunities will connect large companies to small suppliers so companies can meet their small-business contracting goals.

The department’s Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization is heading up the conference.
