RAND Corp. awarded $231.3M contract for advisory, assistance services

RAND Corp. has been awarded a $231.3 million sole source contract to provide the Air Force with advisory and assistance services.

RAND Corp. has been awarded a $231.3 million sole source contract to provide the Air Force with advisory and assistance services.

Under the contract, RAND will complete research studies and analyses to address air, space and cyber power requirements for the Air Force focusing on strategy and doctrine; force modernization and employment; manpower, personnel, and training; resource management and Air Force-wide research integration, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will primarily be performed at Santa Monica, Calif., and is expected to be complete in March 2021. 

RAND Corp. is a nonprofit institution that helps improve policy and decision making through research and analysis, the company said on its website.
