Unisys names head of new law enforcement initiative

Unisys has appointed William Searcy III to lead the company’s newly formed Justice, Law Enforcement and Border Security initiative.

Unisys has appointed William Searcy III to lead the company’s newly formed Justice, Law Enforcement and Border Security initiative.

The new initiative will help governments detect and counter threats as well as help them process public safety investigations and border traffic, transition to the cloud, leverage predictive data analytics and use digital government technology, Unisys said in a release.

He joins the company from the Federal Bureau of Investigations, where he served for 20 years, most recently as the deputy assistant director for the IT Infrastructure Division.
