Two companies win contracts to support Navy ordnance tech division

Two companies have won contracts to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Technology Division (IHEODTD).

Two companies have won contracts to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Technology Division.

The winners are:

  • Engility Corp. – $8.3 million
  • A-T Solutions – $8 million (now part of PAE)

The division focuses on the research, development, test, evaluation and in-service support of energetics and energetic systems as well as works to provide Navy personnel worldwide with the information and technological solutions they need to detect, recover and dispose of both conventional and unconventional weapons and explosives, according to the division’s website.

Under the contract, the companies will provide engineering and technical support to the division.

Work is expected to wrap up in February 2017.
