GSA still receiving questions about upcoming EIS contract

Despite the Feb. 22 deadline for the General Services Administration’s upcoming next-generation telecommunications contract, GSA is still receiving last minute questions from potential bidders, according to FCW.

Of the 1,600 questions that GSA says it has fielded, 1,200 of them are projected to have been asked by contractors.

Agencies will form integrated transition teams by March and by October, they must confirm their agencies’ inventory validations and complete their transition plans, FCW reported. GSA plans to have the transition completed by May 2020.
