Harris wins $40M contract extension for satellite control network

Harris Corp. has won a $40 million contract extension to continue its support of the Air Force Satellite Control Network at two network control locations.

Harris Corp. has won a $40 million contract extension to continue its support of the Air Force Satellite Control Network at two network control locations.

This contract is called the Network and Space Operations and Maintenance contract.

Under the contract,  Harris will provide operations, maintenance and logistics support to Air Force satellite operations at the 50th Space Wing at Schriever Air Force Base, Colo., and other worldwide locations, including:

  • Colorado Springs, Colo.
  • Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif.
  • Diego Garcia Station
  • Guam Tracking Station at Andersen Air Force Base
  • Hawaii Tracking Station at Kaena Point
  • New Boston Air Force Station, N.H.
  • Eastern Vehicle Checkout Facility
  • Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla.
  • Thule Tracking Station, Thule Air Base, Greenland
