CONTRACT AWARD

PAE wins more African peacekeeping work

PAE recently won several more task orders and contract modifications under the U.S. State Department’s Africa Peacekeeping Program and the Africa Contingency Operations Training and Assistance contracts.

The wins bring the total work under the two contracts to $178.5 million for 2015.

The company won six task orders in September to support African militaries with construction, force protection, installation and configuration services as well as procurement, training, advisory services and logistics, the company said.

Under the contingency operations contract, the company won work in Rwanda, Guinea, Benin, Tanzania and Senegal. They also are doing work for the Benin Multidimensional National Joint Task Force.

The goal of the contracts is bring stability to struggling regions of Africa. PAE has been supporting State Department efforts since 1995.
