United Paradyne wins $8.5M option for aerospace support services

United Paradyne Corp. has won an $8.5 million option to provide the Air Force with aerospace support services.

Under the contract, the company will provide management, operations, maintenance and services to support launch programs, fleet management, systems and safety engineering and equipment, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif., and is expected to be completed Sept. 30, 2016.
