Vinson & Elkins taps new partner of government contracts practice

Vinson & Elkins has appointed Daniel Graham to be a partner in the firm’s Government Contracts practice.

He joins the firm from Wiley Rein, where he handled bid protests, claims by and against the government, prime/subcontractor disputes and commercial litigation for clients from a cross-section of industry, the company said in a release.

Graham has a legal background, serving as a law clerk for Judge D. Brooks Smith of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit from 2003 to 2004, the company said.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from the Johns Hopkins University and a law degree from William & Mary Law School.
