Moog Inc. wins $30.6M contract for gun system support

Moog Inc. has won a $30.6 contract to provide the Navy with aircraft-mounted gun activation systems and related engineering and repair services.
Under the contract, Moog will provide motion-control solutions for aircraft-mounted guns via actuators, actuator controllers, the Defense Department said in a release.
The company will also provide repair services for fielded systems, engineering and technical support services for design changes/improvements, platform interoperability evaluation and engineering.
Work will be performed in East Aurora, N.Y., and is expected to be completed September 2020.
