Harris nabs $97M order to provide jammers

Harris Corp. has won a $97 million order to provide the U.S. Naval Air Systems Command with self-protection jammers.

Harris Corp. has won a $97 million order to provide the U.S. Naval Air Systems Command with self-protection jammers.

This contract is in support of the integrated defensive electronic countermeasures program.

Under the contract, Harris will provide its ALQ-214 radio frequency integrated countermeasure system, which is used to protect carrier-based F/A-18s including Hornets and Super Hornets, Harris said in a release.
