GDIT wins $881M enterprise IT contract

General Dynamics Information Technology has won an $881 million contract to deliver enterprise IT in support of the U.S. Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation Systems Extended program.

General Dynamics Information Technology has won an $881 million contract to deliver enterprise IT in support of the U.S. Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation Systems Extended program.

The contract, known as U.S. BICES-X, was awarded by the Air Force Material Command and will last eight years if options are exercised.

Under the contract, the company will also provide global defense organizations and combatant commands with secure, agile support to deliver timely information sharing and collaboration services, General Dynamics said in a release. Users of the contract include NATO and other U.S. allies.

This contract also expands General Dynamics’ role enabling the Defense Department to support worldwide coalition operations.
