Booz Allen wins $12.4M extension of Saudi navy work

Booz Allen & Hamilton has received a $12.4 million option on a contract with the Royal Saudi Naval Forces for a variety of support services.

The contract was awarded under the Foreign Military Sales program and covers training and education, engineering, and technical and management support support services.

The option raises the contract’s value to $24.9 million. Work will continue through July 2016 with 90 percent of it taking place in Saudi Arabia and the rest in McLean, Va.

There is another option available under the contract that could extend it to July 2017.

The contract is being managed through the Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center in Norfolk, Va. Three companies bid on the work.
