Three win $63.4M contract to support Navy subs

Three companies have won a $63.4 million task order contract to support Navy submarines.

Three companies have won a $63.4 million task order contract to support Navy submarines.

The winners are:

  • URS Federal Services
  • Alion Science and Technology Corp.
  • L-3 Unidyne

Under the contract, the companies will provide submarine engineering and technical support to U.S. Naval submarines.

Work will be performed in Norfolk ,Va., Groton, Conn., Portsmouth, N.H., Kings Bay, Ga., Bremerton, Wash., San Diego, Calif., Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and Guam and is expected to be completed in July 2017.

All bidders won contracts, the Defense Department said in a release.
