Raytheon scores $13M option to support jammer program

Raytheon has won a $13 million option to continue supporting the Navy’s Next Generation Jammer program.
The Next Generation Jammer provides innovative airborne electronic attack and jamming capabilities, Raytheon said on its website.
Under the contract, Raytheon will provide the Navy with software and hardware enhanced security design requirements, the Defense Department said in a release.
Work will be performed in El Segundo, Calif., Dallas, Texas, and Ft. Wayne, Ind., and is expected to be completed February 2016.
