Aerospace Corp. taps new general manager of national intelligence operations

The Aerospace Corp. has named Timothy Jones as general manager of national intelligence operations.
In his new role, Jones will be responsible for all non-National Reconnaissance Office intelligence operations and will provide support across the intelligence community, the company said in a release.
Jones was most recently principal engineer of the group, a position for which he rejoined the company in 2014. Before rejoining, he led large and mid-size engineering and operations organizations over the last 15 years, the Aerospace Corp. said in a released.
Jones holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California. Jones also served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
