CohnReznick taps ex-CSCer to be principal, national director

CohnReznick has tapped Dean Nelson to be principal and national director of the accounting firm’s technology and digital advisory group within CohnReznick’s advisory practice.
In his new role, Nelson will lead the growth of technology and digital services and will emphasize on core technology, CIO advisory, analytics, package selection and implementation and infrastructure, the company said in a release.
He joins the firm from Computer Sciences Corp., where he served as managing partner. Before, CSC, Nelson served as a principal at IBM.
Nelson holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota and an MBA in finance from the School of Business at St. Thomas University.
