Tech Data Corp. names two new senior finance execs

Tech Data Corp. has named two new senior finance leaders effective early June 2015.

Joseph Trepani has been named senior vice president and chief financial officer, the Americas. In his new role, Trepani will be responsible for the company’s finance, accounting and credit functions in the United States, Canada, and Latin America.  Before joining the company in 1990, Trepani worked at Price Waterhouse.

Jeffrey Taylor has been named senior vice president and corporate controller. In his new role, Taylor will serve as the company's chief accounting officer, responsible for all global accounting policy, controls and financial reporting. Before returning to the company in 2012, Taylor worked at Deloitte in an executive financial management position.

Trepani and Taylor will report to Chuck Dannewitz, who will succeed Jeff Howells as the CFO of Tech Data Corporation following Howells's previously announced retirement on that date, the company said in a release.
