AEgis Technologies wins $6.7M contract for R&D services

AEgis Technologies Group Inc. has won a $6.7 million sole source contract to provide the Air Force with research and development.

Under the contract, the company will provide research and development for change requests, architecture modernization and software engineering activities, according to the Defense Department.

AEgis Technologies was the incumbent on this contract, according to a FedBizOpps release. The original contract was made in June 2011.

Work will be performed in Huntsville, Ala., and Lexington, Mass., and is expected to be completed Jan. 31, 2016.
