FBI to contract with cyber experts on as-needed basis

The FBI is looking to create as-needed contracts for cyber experts to get support services and expertise on demand, according to Federal Times.

The winning contractors will work with law enforcement and intelligence bureaus including the intelligence branches, national security branch, the criminal, cyber, response and services branches and a number of other branches within the FBI, Federal Times said.

The type of work will range from consultations, data collection and analysis to intelligence interviewing, training, policy development and assistance with project implementation and management, Federal Times reported.
