Truven Health Analytics taps ex-HealthCare.gov director to be VP of federal

Truven Health Analytics has tapped Kirk Grothe to be its vice president for the company’s Federal Government business.

In his new role, Grothe will serve as the technology practice leader and will help boost the company’s health care IT solutions and offerings.

He joins Truven from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, where he served as the acting director of the Customer Information and Insurance Systems Group.

As acting director, Grothe oversaw the establishment of health insurance marketplace IT systems, including the IT operations for HealthCare.gov.
