Lockheed Martin to maintain littoral combat ships under $10.4M contract

Lockheed Martin has won a $10.4 million contract to maintain the Navy’s littoral combat ship fleet.

Lockheed Martin has won a $10.4 million contract to maintain the Navy’s littoral combat ship fleet.

Under the contract, Lockheed will provide maintenance and sustainment support to the littoral combat ship program, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by March 2015.
